YOUR ROLE

YOUR ROLE
As Engineering Team Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact by leading our projects, clients, and talented team members. You play a key role in designing, implementing, and refining innovative product development, testing, and production processes. Additionally, you ensure smooth project logistics and optimal resource allocation.
Profile
For this role, we are looking for motivated, enthusiastic and inventive individuals. Additionally, you possess:
- a university degree (such as Commercial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Business Economics or similar).
- proven experience in stting up and managin technical teams
- a keen eye for detail and understanding of its impact on final resuls.
- excellent command of Dutch, Englisch and French (both spoken and written)
- strong computer skills: > MS Office: Word, Excel en PowerPoint > Teamleader is een troef > SolidWorks (of andere technische tools)
- excellent communication and coaching skills
- a positive and assertive attitude, flexibility and a strong dose of (Kempian) drive!
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- collaboration: work closely with other managers, team members and clients to achieve shared goals.
- sales support: actively participate in sales processes, providing valuable input based on available resources and competencies.
- process optimization: critically evaluate and improve existing processes and procedures to enhance efficiency.
- language development: identify and encourage training and growth opportunities within your team.
- recruitment: attract talented professionals and build inspiring, effective teams.
- strategic support: ensure your innovative products and solutions receive he necessary backing from senior management.
- leadership: provide clear guidancee and direction o the engineering teamss.
- innovation: lead exciting research and development projects that deliver new designs, products and processes
- quality control: maintain technical accuracy and top quality standars within your team's work.
